Towards the end of the summer, I decided to take some pretty model pictures of my completed silk collection. As we were in early autumn, it was hard to expect flowering trees. I chose one of my favorite little villages, Nagykovácsi, because of its cozy little houses.

The model is standing in front of beautiful little houses, wearing a hand-painted rose-patterned silk skirt

The next scene in the photo shoot was on a small green field in front of a leafy, almost exotic tree. I had the feeling that we were on an Asian site with rich vegetation.

The pictures speak for themselves ! Here the dragonflies could fly!

the pink and red scarf, with the matching cloth, looked great in front of the burgundy leaves….

this field was full of glamorous meadow flowers… they were really kindly reflecting on the silk skirt and shawl

this beautiful set consists of crinkled silk skirts and scarf adorned with jewelry beads.

we are still around Nagykovácsi, we see a light silk blouse on a bright yellow flower background.

a fairy stepping on the flower field in a blue iris dress with a iris scarf on her shoulder…

We discovered the fascinating richness of the landscapes of our country as we took the shots at the locations and I think the pure natural brilliance of the silk was only highlighted by these wonderful locations.

The photos were taken by Adam Schilling.
The sets were completed with jewelery by glass artist Kata Simon.

Only one deep breath is enough for me to finally feel that spring is here, that fine tingling in every fibre of my body. This is my favorite season, not too cold and not too hot. I call it "rain of spring" when the little leaves of flowers are blowing in the wind. The feast of the colors is amazing! We finally put the coats in the wardrobe and our clothes are getting more and more colorful.
I - being a goldsmith-, never would have thought that I'd fell into silk painting, even though I've felt attracted to dresses - as a simple way of self expression. Not sure you've noticed that on some days women dress up in similar colors. Interestingly, they somehow match the energies of the Sun that day. Az we undestand, every color has a frequency and also a "hot" or "cold" feeling that we associate them with. Either we add or take energy. A curious example is that one of my dear customers bought a silk scarf simply because their children often suffered form throat infection, and they were only willing to fall asleep with those around their necks. Anyway, the colors we wear reflect our state of mind. But how can be ourselves in clothing when fashion and trends may be telling us otherwise. When all you want is to wear loose-fit pants but the current trend is slim-fit... and shops only sell those. If yellow is the new trend, it's all you gonna find even though you want green...                                                                                                                                                   ekszersal2   Usually i strive for single color design, because a carefully chosen accessory will not only elevate the overall look of a simple dress, but you can also achieve a whole new effect. You don't need to buy new things every time, a well picked high quality SILK SCARF with a matching bag or a pair of shoes will be just enough.
If I wear a scarf, what happens when i take it off? Do i wear a necklace as well? This is where the idea of combining the two came from, what would it be like? I have my beautiful jewels that i make with my own hands - of a paste with low hardening temperature, - and I can mix any colors I want. I just paint the beautiful 90x160 cm sized silk canvas and attach a little chain of jewels to it, and what I have is a JEWEL SCARF!
This chain is both a jewel and a scarf at the same time. The scarf will not slip off my shoulder, and I can wear it on my shoulders as well. This accessory is really dressing you up! If you prefer, you can detach the chain. You don't have to browse the shops for new stuff, just suprise yourself with a gorgeous SILK SCARF!

If you’ve ever had the chance to touch real silk, you know what a magical feeling it is; the softness, and the fine material that can either cool you down or warm you up. It is not a coincidence that even the greatest fashion designers love to use natural materials, mostly silk. Taft, satin, raw silk and the finest muslin. There are many types of the silk we can make from the cocoon..                                                             The most often used material of both professionals and hobbyists are the silk with 0.5  and 0.8 thickness. The thickness is measured as a unit of ponge, which ranges from 0.3 to 1.2. The amount of silk used has an impact on the price. The high price of muslin is a result of two things;,  it is difficult to work with and it is a very fine material. In case of satin or taft the higher price comes from the expensive pruduction costs related to its thickness.                                                                                                      20190416_130812 (2)                                                                                         Of course every type of silk is made from mulberry coccon. In Hungary, we used to cultivate silkworm and produce silk before WW2. It is not a coincidence that in many Hungarian yards you will find mulberry next to walnut trees. The sweet fruit was fed to the pigs while the leaves were a perfect food for the silkworm. When the cocoons are fully developed, they take them to the factory where they extract the fibre which is thinner than hair, to make this fantastic cloth.                                                                           Today the largest silk producers are China, India and Thailand. The cloth with white base color can be painted in the factory, either they apply digital patterns in mass-product or, as the most exciting way, paint by hand. The extraordinary and magical gloss of the material is a result of the silk fibres having spherical shape and this makes the light bouncing off of those.                                                                                                             I fell in love with this fantastic material. I love the vivid colors as the light reflects on the silk and as nature and my imagination come to life on the white material. I want to share this small miracle with others to make their days a bit more colorful.20180223_091511 (1)

Thes custom collections were made for an exhibition and for a photoshoot. I have used minerals like coral, onix, bred pearls, silver sea creatures when making the collections. I strive to use natural materials only to decorate the jewels. Thes photos were taken at the Hungarian Railway Museum, for the custom dresses made by Réka Siptár. We both loved the photos. The challenges of composing a jewel like this are very important to me. I love to hold the minerals in my hands, to feel the energy coming from those. It is also giving me pleasure when one of my pruduct finds its owner. It is not only an accessory for the dress but the power of the stones shall help the one who wears it.
